HACCP DIGITAL LOGS
Keep monitoring, deviations and verification connected.
FoodVerix turns HACCP monitoring into a controlled workflow—from the assigned check and critical limit through corrective action, qualified verification and retained evidence.
FoodVerix supports implementation of an approved HACCP plan. Your qualified food-safety team remains responsible for hazard analysis, limits, decisions and verification.Work, exceptions and proof

SEE THE WORKFLOW
A monitoring result is the beginning of the record.
See how a fictional cooking check connects to a deviation and qualified review. The sample values illustrate the workflow, not a HACCP plan for your product.
LOG-DEMO-028 · Cooking check
Source record: Cooking CCP · Demo batch DEMO-101
- Recorded observation
- 160°F for 15 seconds · Demo operator Jordan
- Sample critical limit
- At least 165°F for 15 seconds — illustrative only
- Result
- Below the sample critical limit. Original reading retained.
- Immediate response
- Supervisor notified; batch held for qualified assessment.
- Linked follow-up
- CA-DEMO-028 · Response and product decision documented separately
- Verification
- Awaiting the authorized reviewer’s assessment
Simplified demonstration using FoodVerix record fields. All people, records and events shown are fictional; this is not customer data or a live operational record.
What belongs in a digital HACCP monitoring record?
A digital HACCP log should capture the information specified by your approved plan and preserve the relationship between the observation, any deviation response and the required review.
- Context: facility, process or CCP, product or batch, monitoring date and time, and the person completing the check.
- Observation: actual measurements or observations, applicable critical limits, and the monitoring method required by the plan.
- Response: the documented action when a limit is missed, affected product information, and the authorized product decision.
- Review: reviewer identity, decision, supporting evidence and any required follow-up.
Does every temperature check belong to a CCP?
No. The facility’s hazard analysis and approved plan determine its CCPs. Routine storage or other operational checks may belong to prerequisite programs. FoodVerix supports recording the work; it does not decide your hazard analysis or set safe limits for you.
What happens when a result is outside its limit?
Follow the approved deviation procedure, record the response and retain the original observation. FoodVerix can connect the source record to corrective-action follow-up, while authorized people assess affected product and review the outcome. See how to document a food safety corrective action →
Can a digital record guarantee a passing audit?
No. Its value is a clear, retrievable history. Accurate entries, an appropriate food-safety plan and qualified decisions remain essential. Explore how records connect to audit evidence →

ONE GOVERNED WORKSPACE
Replace disconnected records with one operating story.
FoodVerix connects what the team does, how exceptions are controlled and what qualified reviewers approve.
Put limits inside the workflow
Present the correct monitoring fields, limits, frequency and instructions for the facility and process.
Respond at the point of failure
Prompt the employee to record the deviation, immediate correction and affected product information while the facts are current.
Escalate only when required
Route holds, maintenance requests or CAPA from the original record according to the facility’s approved rules.
Protect verification
Keep reviewer identity, time, decision and evidence connected to the same monitoring history.
HOW FOODVERIX WORKS
Operate. Control. Prove.
Complete the assigned check
Employees record time, temperature or other approved control data using the correct facility log.
Control the deviation
Capture the immediate correction, product decision and any required linked action when a limit is not met.
Review the complete history
Qualified reviewers confirm the record and preserve the connected evidence for later analysis and audit.
CONNECTED EVIDENCE
Give every record its place in the system.
Completed work remains connected to ownership, review, changes and the evidence needed for internal or external review.
